Items made primarily of metal can be taken to any Waste and Recycling Centre for recycling for free (at staff discretion).
Items that may be accepted as scrap metal may include ovens, microwaves, bicycles, roofing metal, metal bed bases, hot water systems, washing machines, dryers, metal vehicle parts/whole vehicles, trampoline frame and springs etc
