Computers and accessories like monitors, hard drives and cables are considered electronic (E)- Waste and can be taken to Merimbula Waste and Recycling Centre to be recycled (fees apply).
E Waste is transported to specialised recyclers and precious metals are recovered for use in other electronics, reducing the reliance on mining for these metals.
