Small amounts of soil around the roots of plants can be placed in your green-lid FOGO bin, otherwise, soil should not be placed in any of your kerbside bins.
VENM (virgin excavated natural material) may be accepted at the Central Waste Facility only, for free disposal (commercial customers only). Conditions apply, you must submit waste classification report prior to arrival. Call Council for more information on 02 6499 2222.
Soil taken to Waste and Recycling Centres will be considered general waste and disposal will incur a fee.
