Coffee bags should be placed in your red-lid landfill bin.
Most bags are made from finely woven plastics and cannot be composted. If your brand of coffee bags is made from a plant-based material or certified compostable, they may be composted safely at home.
Alternatively, cut the bag and place the coffee grinds in your green-lid FOGO bin before disposing of the bag in your red-lid landfill bin.
