Power tools (with cords or skins without batteries) that are no longer working should be placed in your red-lid landfill bin.
Power tool batteries should be taken to the Merimbula Waste and Recycling Centre for disposal in the Community Recycling Centre (CRC) or to the Mobile CRC when it is at Bermagui, Wallagoot or Eden Waste and Recycling Centres.
Batteries CANNOT be placed in your landfill, recycling or FOGO bins. The national B-Cycle battery recycling scheme also has recycling points at tool and hardware stores. Find your nearest location here.
