Defibrillator - Electrode Pads, Battery

Defibrillator electrode pads can be disposed of in your red-lid landfill bin, as they do not contain any batteries or hazardous material.

Defibrillator batteries can be disposed of for free at the Community Recycling Centre at the Merimbula Waste and Recycling Centre or the Mobile CRC when it is at a Waste and Recycling Centre near you.

Do not place lithium batteries in your household bins -  they can cause fires in the collections vehicles and at our landfill site.
