Unwanted, broken or used fishing gear can be safely recycled at local Rig Recycle locations - Boss Outdoor Merimbula and Tackle World Merimbula.
Items accepted include:
- Fishing Line
- Plastic Spools
- Handline Spools
- Hooks
- Sinkers
- Swivels
- Lures
- Floats
Bait packaging, soft plastics, rods, reels, life jackets or flares not accepted.
If unable to take them to a Rig Recycle location, please place them in your red-lid landfill bin, or drop usable items off for free at a ReUse Shop at one of our Waste and Recycling Centres (accepted at staff discretion).
