Compost Availability

Compost is available to purchase from Merimbula, Eden, Wallagoot & Bermagui Waste and Recycling Centres.  

The compost is made from the contents of the FOGO bin kerbside collection and the garden waste bought into the Waste and Recycling Centres through a process that meets the EPA’s standards for composts. 

• Always confirm if compost is available at each site by checking this app, Councils website or by calling Council on 6499 2222
• Compost will be loaded by BVSC machine operators.
• All loads are required to be secured and covered with a tarpaulin before leaving site. We are only able to load compost up to the carrying capacity of your trailer and vehicle. It is your responsibility to comply with all road regulations.
• Free waste vouchers are redeemable for up to 1 cubic metre of compost where available.

AVAILABILITY:

• Merimbula - Compost is NOT available. MULCH is available at Merimbula only, limited release until sold out.
• Bermagui - Compost is NOT available.
• Eden - Compost is NOT available.
• Wallagoot - Compost is NOT available.

Compost $43.50 cubic metre
Compost $32.50 (>3 cubic metres)
Mulch      $25.50 cubic metre (Merimbula only)
